CGA Requirement for Lancaster: 3.0

English Requirements
An English requirement is needed for applicants to Lancaster University. IELTS(recommended) score report must be submitted before deadline of the exchange application. Please refer to the below for details of acceptable English scores. These scores must not be expired and be valid 8 months after the exchange application period.

**TOEFL score of  Internet-Based (iBT) 93 can also be accepted.

  • Arrival Weekend for September starters: 19 - 20 Sept 2026
  • Welcome Week: 21 - 27 Sept 2026
Students attending only Semester 1 are required on campus until 18 December 2026, with options for remote assessments in January if leaving before the end of the semester.
  • Semester 2: 1 February - 13 June 2027
  • Arrival Day for February starters: 30 or 31 January 2027
  • Welcome Week: 1 - 7 Feb 2027
  • Spring vacation: 22 Mar - 11 Apr 2027
