Studying abroad at HKUST is truly an experience unlike any other. The SBM staff and faculty have done such a great job in welcoming and helping us to settle down in our new home, from the orientation from day 1 to day trips and cultural activities throughout the semester. HKUST offers a wide pool of courses from different disciplines delivered by amazing professors who truly want you to succeed. More importantly, I was able to make so many friends from all over the world who have made my exchange a thousand times better. Hong Kong is a fast-paced country with so much to offer, there wasn't a day that I got bored with nothing to do. The past 4 months are genuinely some of the best times of my life filled with memories and laughter that I will always look back on and cherish forever.

The 4 months I spent at HKUST were some of the best of my life so far! The university campus, the city, the nature, and the people of Hong Kong are truly awesome. Most of all, I was able to meet and spend them with amazing friends that I'll hopefully see again many times beyond the exchange. The university and the exchange are super well organized and professional, I felt at home and welcomed after only one month. I also had the opportunity to take part in very practical, challenging and engaging courses taught by professors with totally different and valuable skills. I definitely learned a lot and had fun here academically, practically and as a person. If you're thinking about choosing HKUST, I can say that I consider the opportunity a privilege. Oh, and about the food: it's the reason I initially chose Hong Kong and I was not disappointed!!!
