Wow, what a semester this has been! From lively horse races and noisy night markets to stunning beaches and mountain peaks, Hong Kong has it all. As HKUST has a large international community, I can guarantee that you will meet bright people from all over the world during your exchange. This has been an unforgettable experience for me as I really enjoyed the city life and the contrasting picturesque campus of HKUST. My professors were truly inspiring and managed to explain concepts in a fun and intuitive way. The SBM exchange team was also highly engaged and organised lots of activities for us to get to know each other and discover Hong Kong. I can’t recommend HKUST enough for anyone who wants to enjoy the bustling city life while not missing out on countless (outdoor) adventures.

My experience in Hong Kong has been more than amazing! This city is so lively and vibrant that 4 months are not even enough to enjoy all there is to see and do! The friends I made at HKUST also made this experience unforgettable, and this is thanks to HKUST’s large international community, which makes the student life super fun! From chilling on the absolutely gorgeous campus to going out in the craziest rooftop bars overlooking the city, there is something for everyone here!
