Yes. We offer a number of scholarships each year to top students with outstanding academic or non-academic performance. We will identify and select the students to be offered scholarships. You do not have to apply for them.

Yes, of course. Our Student Ambassadors will be happy to show you around the campus, in person or virtually, and give you first-hand information about HKUST Business School. If you would like to visit the campus, please send your request to ambassador@ust.hk, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  

Usually, we do not accept deferred applications. If you have been accepted, but cannot, or choose not to attend, you will normally be advised to re-apply for the next year.

The HKUST academic year starts in early September. Spring admissions is generally not recommended.

Applicants can apply through EITHER JUPAS or Non-JUPAS Admissions routes but NOT both in the same academic year.

HKUST Business School is excited to introduce the Graduate Program Pathway (GPP), which will help students streamline their transition from undergraduate studies to Master of Science (MSc) programs at HKUST Business School. GPP will be awarded to eligible students automatically and applicants do not need to submit a separate application for GPP. For further details, please refer to the GPP leaflet.

Currently, HKUST has 10 Undergraduate Student Halls (9 on-campus halls and 1 off-campus), offering accommodations to both local and non-local students. 5 new on-campus halls with 1,500 extra bed places will be available soon.

Starting from the 2026-27 intake cohort, all students are guaranteed university accommodation for the first year of study. You may visit here for further information about the housing allocation policy for local and non-local students.

Following accepting an admissions offer, you should refer to the Admissions Portal for updates on the application period and procedure for student housing.

Both WBB and BBA in EABU are self-financed joint-university programs.

WBB is jointly offered with the University of Southern California (USA) and Bocconi University (Italy). Students may submit a separate WBB application via USC’s Common Application. Please refer to the program website for details: https://wbb.hkust.edu.hk/.

BBA EABU is the first undergraduate partnership of its kind in HK within the One Belt One Road region jointly offered with Nazarbayev University (NU).
