Study Pathways for 2024-25 intake
Based on pre-admission qualifications, the majority of students will follow one of the following two pathways and be pre-enrolled in Business Core courses (except LANG2062).
Pathway 2 is for PBA^ ECOF, PBA FINA, PBA QFIN, students with strong Mathematics background and those interested in BSc and AIS programs. Students admitted to these programs will follow their major study pathways starting from the 3rd term.

*Students who wish to pursue QFIN, MAEC, or RMBI majors should note the MATH requirement of the programs (N.B. MATH1003 will not be considered). Pathway 1 students who are interested in these programs may consider taking MATH1012 or MATH1013 in the first term.

^Program-based Admission
Note 1: For Senior Year Entry or Direct Entry students with credit transfer of at least 15 transferred credits in total, the study pathway may be different. Please contact Academic Affairs and Advising Counselor (AAAC) for advice.
Note 2: Students with DSE English Language level 4 and below will be required to take LANG 1402 and LANG 1406; Students with DSE English Language level 5 and above will be required to take LANG 1406 and one E-COMM Elective course.
Note 3: Most of the above courses are pre-enrolled, except Common Core and E-COMM elective courses which you must register on your own. MGMT2130 (not listed above) may be pre-enrolled in year 3 according to major program's study pathway.
Note 4: Majority of students select their majors at the end of the 3rd term. In the 4th term, students will be pre-enrolled in ACCT2200 and ECON2123 (if not taken in the 3rd term) and will follow their major study pathway for the 4th term.
Note 5: PBA students of joint-school programs will follow their own study pathways.
Note 6: ACCT2200, ISOM2700, MARK2120 and MGMT2110 are required for BBA programs only.
